Serving Roseburg St. Paul Lutheran Growth Group Program
SERVE ROSEBURG

We’re always looking for new opportunities to love the people of Roseburg. Our growth groups are active in serving the city in tangible ways.

St. Paul gives 10 percent of the offering money it receives to support global missions, training new pastors, and local non-profit organizations.
GOOD NEWS ABOUT JESUS

Since 1979, 600,000 copies of the 60 page Good News About Jesus booklets have been printed in 32 languages and provided for people in 118 countries. These small books are a powerful summary of the life and work of Jesus -- past, present and future. They are being given and sent to people locally and around the world, including in Braille for the blind and Large Print for visually impaired. Pastor Len Galster authored The Good News About Jesus. He was a retired missionary who served in Hong Kong and Thailand. Now a team of volunteer mission helpers at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Roseburg and a larger number of volunteers in other areas of the world continue on this mission.

Additionally, volunteers at St. Paul have made and distributed over 5,000 Large Print and Braille books over the past decade. These have included The Good News About Jesus, The Gospel of Matthew, and books for Christian children.
