who we are

The Apostle Paul says about us: "We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life" (Romans 6:4).

We are the people of God (1 Peter 2:9), young and old, rich and poor, who have been clothed with Christ (Galatians 3:27) and seek to love and serve Him. As Christians who have been clothed with Christ we are the church and seek to honor and glorify Christ wherever we go.

What we do

On Sundays, we gather around the promise of Jesus Christ. For more information about what we do on Sundays, click here.

Throughout the week, we grow in the truth of Jesus through Bible studies and Growth Groups.  Click here to get connected to a Growth Group.

Our people reach out with the love of Jesus by word and deed in the context of relationships. Click here to learn more about our ministries and outreach.

what we believe

We believe that there is one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 10:30; Matt. 3:16-17; 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14).

We believe in the inerrancy and authority of the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is the sole rule, norm, and guide for faith and life (2 Sam. 23:2; Is. 6:8-10; Jer. 1:7-8; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21).

We believe that Jesus Christ is at the heart and center of all of Scripture (John 5:39; 20:31; Luke 24:44).

We believe in biblical preaching that is high in textual exposition and has Jesus Christ at the center (1 Cor. 1:23; Col. 1:28).

We believe that Jesus Christ died a bloody death on the cross as our substitute and atoned for our sins (Isaiah 53:5; John 1:29; Rom. 3:25; 1 Cor. 15:7; Gal. 3:13;).

We believe in an actual bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead whereby He conquered sin, death, and the devil (Rom. 6:9-10; 1 Cor. 15:57).

We believe that there is salvation in no one else but Jesus because Jesus is the only one who died and rose again for sin (John 3:36; Acts 4:12; 1 John 5:12).

We believe that salvation is solely God's action in our lives. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in the person and work of Jesus Christ alone (Rom. 3:21-28; 5:1-11; Eph. 2:8-9; Gal. 2:15-21; 2 Tim. 1:9; Titus 3:5).

We believe that baptism is a means of burial and resurrection and that it washes away our sins (Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:11-13; Acts 22:16; 1 Cor. 6:11; Eph. 5:26; Titus 3:5). Since salvation is God's work and baptism washes away sins, we baptize the infants of Christian parents because they too are of the kingdom of God (Luke 18:15-17; Matt. 21:15-16; Acts 2:39; Acts 16:15; 18:33; 1 Cor. 1:16).

We believe that the Lord's Supper mysteriously is the true body and blood of Jesus Christ given to assure believers of the forgiveness of their sins (Matt. 26:26-28; Mark 14:22; John 6:53-58; 1 Cor. 10:16; 11:27-29).

We believe that the Christian life is characterized by repentance (Matt. 3:2; Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; Rev. 2:5, 16, 22; 3:3, 19).

We believe that the church is the body of Christ and sent on mission to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:18-19; Mark 16:16; Luke 24:46-47; John 20:23; Acts 1:8).

We believe that Jesus Christ will come again and assign the righteous to eternal life and the unrighteous to eternal punishment (Matt. 25:46; Rev. 20:11-15).
